Virtual Solana meme coin powerhouse bros, Robinhood looks tasty, so now one by one launching high bundles to pump up the FDV while hunting for liquidity exits.. And sure enough, one popped up right away today too..

How anyone can defend Core astounds me. Run whatever implementation you like but do not defend a corrupt development culture that actively breaks stuff to force you upgrade. Core is captured and corrupt. [Spoken audio]: And the maintainer, one of the maintainers, the one who is the most hostile to me over a very long time, literally said, well, those users don't really matter because they're working on versions of Core that are no longer supported. We only support Core 2 versions back. Oh, wow. And I have no issue with breaking things for them to encourage them to upgrade. Now, two versions back is what? B30, B31, and B32, which is nice for these. So the maintainer, now many users who are pro-core believe that core, and I thought that core did have a policy, we would always maintain as much as we could, especially if it's trivially easy to do so. We would maintain backwards compatibility and not break things needlessly. And above all, we don't break things to encourage users to upgrade. I mean, okay, there are maybe some vulnerabilities that were caught and fixed in recent versions of Core, but there are also some things that people don't want in the recent version of Core. So it's really not a good, it's not a smart move, in my opinion, to your users to tell them that they're free to fork off or they're free to do whatever they want, they're free to change Core if they like, but they should upgrade no matter what because otherwise we're happy to break things to encourage them to do so. really what we should do is not break, for senseless silly trivial things, like one line of code was labeled as complexity, that we can avoid if we just break something for users who are three versions back. Yeah. I mean, there are plenty of people who run nodes that are older and they don't want to upgrade it. They want to give out why it hurts. Everybody knows that except the maintainer of core who wants to infuse these people to break their, yeah, I don't understand that. And if we had, I believe that we should really, it's surprising, but it's a very niche minority viewpoint what I'm expressing that not breaking things needlessly for users should be a priority.
