So your cold wallet is going to have a address that you create for whatever the asset is, XRP, XLM, Bitcoin, HBAR, whatever it is. You're going to take that long address, you're going to copy it, you're going to go back over to the exchange and there's going to be something that says withdrawal or send crypto or transfer. It depends on what exchange you have your assets on. that's what you're going to click on and you're going to look to remove that asset in particular, it's going to ask you what wallet address you want to send it to. That's where you'll copy paste that wallet address that you took off your cold wallet. Highly recommend copy paste and verifying that wallet address multiple times before you send it, especially the first time. Most of the time after the first time it's logged and you can like make it a preferred address or something on your exchange, which is nice, kind of like a whitelisted option. I wouldn't send the full amount that you were trying to transact that first transaction. I would send test transaction to that wallet and make sure that it lands over there. If you're sending money off of an exchange, it's going to take a little bit longer, somewhere between five and 10 minutes for XRP and XLM. If it's Bitcoin, it could take up to an hour to settle over there in the other wallet. Sometimes they make you read KYC, ask you why you're sending it off there, for what purpose. So that should be asked that they get you with when you're trying to move your assets off of exchange. You're going to send that larger amount over there. You're going to wait until it settles. You should be good to go.
