Who else use IDEX and Aether Delta back in the day? Uniswap style AMM dominated in recent years, but there are real advantages to the hybrid model, having order books and so on. Messages floating OTC style orders are particularly interesting. You put up a buyer cell and it keeps moving with the reference spot price, but holds all of its size until taken. So when it does get taken there's no slippage. This is different to putting up a normal buy wall because if price moves up away from you your buy gets buried and won't be taken. But if you choose to decide I want to buy 1000 with no slippage at whatever the going rate is this will do the trick and get you a counterparty. It's a quite useful order type. And we totally agree with what primer dev shared, because our hybrid P2P deck with aggregated decks fallback does ensure that users always get the best execution available. P2P liquidity orders are automatically filled at live market rate whenever possible. If sufficient liquidity is not available from other P2P traders, the platform seamlessly fallback to a deck's liquidity, either instantly on demand or after a configurable timer, always sourcing the most competitive prices across the market. And so whether your order is filled entirely through P2P liquidity, entirely through aggregated Dex liquidity, or through a combination of both, the messy P2P exchange is designed to deliver the best available execution. And on top of that, it also enables true cross-chain P2P swap orders, allowing users to trade assets directly across multiple blockchains through a single unified interface.
