Why Crypto Sux Got this kicked from r/XRP. Crypto cannot be compared with stocks; they serve different purposes. One is equity ownership in a money making machine, the other is used for barter, but they are both viewed under the same investment lighting. HODL is a good strategy for the S&P500, but i dare you to HODL EURUSD. Forex is the ride of a lifetime purely because theres just so much money (trillions) coming in and out each day, yet there are still fundamentals you can study to gauge the value of a foreign currency. For example, job reports, CPI reports, and new monetary policies released by a nations central bank. These arent very reliable I have to admit, but its better than nothing which is exactly what crypto provides its speculators.
