Is there any need to change something that’s working well? I trade a bunch of different markets, forex/crypto/sometimes indices like the S&P500, US100. Been trading since 2020, back when I holed up at home during covid. Always traded discretionary, my own strategy, working on my mistakes and hunting for my edge, like everyone loves to say lately. I do it successfully, it's what I live on. So the question I keep asking myself is whether it's even worth changing anything if it already works but the topic really pulls at me. I've been thinking about it a lot recently, and it feels like it's genuinely everywhere now, not a niche thing anymore. Tons of exchanges are rolling out their own bots, AI assistants and so on. That's kind of what prompted this, when literally every platform regardless of size is selling the same let it trade for you idea at once, it starts to feel less like a real edge being handed to retail and more like a feature everyone has to have because the competitor has it.
