"Once people taste instant, 24/7, global money...it's hard to go backwards." Watch @sytaylor share his take on the biggest financial rupture right now. [Spoken audio]: When we talk about infrastructure and payment rails specifically, where do you see the biggest rupture and what do you think can be done to fix that? So payment rails are domestic by nature. There's no one global payment rail to rule them all. Correspondent banking is a patchwork of different banks that talk to each other and there's frankly an issue where most of the payment systems in the world don't work weekends and they don't work bank holidays and even if you have local instant payments then you're still relying on the slowest bit of the system. Stablecoins are relying on those underlying systems to some extent and to the banks to support them. So whilst that's still not quite there, stablecoins are like this island, it's an amazing island, I can do whatever I like on the island but to get in and out of I've got to cross an ocean and that's still a bit of a chasm of rupture as you put it but once people taste instant 24-7 global money it's hard to go backwards
