You can now lock up your private keys. Just run: $ dotenvx lock up You get an encrypted and passphrase protected private key. Agents can't read it and can't unlock it. Available in Dotenvx 2.0. [Spoken audio]: Hey, fellow devs, it's July 8th, 2026, and you can now lock up your private keys with .invex. Just run the command .invex lock up, type in your passphrase, and you will have a locked up private key. If you want to unlock it, just do lock down, retype the passphrase to unlock, and you're good to go. This is really useful for keys that are very sensitive, like your production keys. Just run .mvx lockup and the path to your production file. Put in your passphrase. And that will lock up that production key as well. That's it. That's the new .mvx lock feature. Hope you enjoy.
