not even a hot take: people only care about memecoins and chains when influential people are posting about it everyone has a X tracker, everyone is waiting for catalysts, and everyone just wants people to post this is what truly drives the market in 2026 [Spoken audio]: Let's talk about this Robinhood chain thing real quick because I'm seeing everybody start to glaze Robinhood and how it's gonna be the Greatest chain of all time and how it's different this time than everything else And so I've been thinking about this a little bit and of course every time that there is a new meme coin runner Or a coin on a chain everyone all of a sudden starts to talk about how it's the greatest thing ever now I'm gonna start by saying I like when coins are going up. I like meme coins I like shitcoins and stuff, but one thing that I think is funny is mainly the market behavior, right? Do people really actually care about Robin hood or do they care about the fact that the CEO of Robin hood made a post? Because I'm gonna just clue you in on something right now. The market doesn't give a shit. Who is behind anything really at all anymore more. What do they care about? They care about posts, okay? Why did the B&B season last October go super crazy? Because CZ and his wife and the CEO and every single coin that launched was based off of a tweet. It was based off of a post, okay? Why did Telegram go super crazy because the CEO made a post and then he stopped posting and then guess what? Everything died down. Why did asteroid go up to 200 mil? Because Elon made a post. Why is it down? Because Elon hasn't posted. What does every group chat say about asteroid? Oh, well, when Elon tweets, it's gonna go up. Like, you know, we're just waiting for confirmation, even though we know the plushies in the fucking SpaceX store. And then same thing with this. And like, Ansem like what why is Ansem going up? Well, obviously Ansem is somebody who is like very well known He's like the biggest crypto influencer in the fucking world as far as I'm concerned But why does the coin keep going up because all he's doing is he's sitting around and he's tweeting all day Oh, and guess what happened TJR started tweeting. Oh brez scales started tweeting Everybody on the timeline started tweeting and guess what there hasn't been a single like three hour period where Ansem hasn't posted about it That's what people want people don't really give a shit if it's Robin Hood all the retail chain and like in all these things People just want posts. That's what they want. Like they just want reassurance That's why every single coin in 2026 only goes up if there's a post from somebody in one way or another like the days of coins just going up for no reason and And just because they were building a community and people not just sitting around all day waiting for someone to give them a cat What's the catalyst bro? Like, you know, there was they're gonna is he gonna post about it? Like, you know, what's that? It's literally like the mindset of every single person on Every any single given day like everybody will literally look at a coin and they'll be like Oh, well if this guy posts then it's gonna do super well Oh if CZ likes a tweet on this random you know this this guy's he's not random But like this guy's account. Oh CZ acknowledged that the coin it and then everyone starts buying it like Everything is literally driven by an interaction or a post and so I've seen this enough times to where I know that if the Robin Hood CEO continues to just bull post memes for a long time, then there's a good chance that there's going to be some runners and some coins are going to do super well. But what are the chances of that happening, right? Like we already know that like the telegram CEO hasn't really put, you know, CZ like, you know, he doesn't post a lot, you know, about memes and stuff because he knows what's going on. And, you know, so there's, there's a lot to be said about this. And so I just wanted to bring that up because I do think that people will try to like use information to convince themselves that something is good when in reality everything is just a Twitter tracker like everything is just people waiting for somebody else to tell them that something's good or to make them feel good about something. Because let me ask you this question right now, if Elon Musk posted about asteroid, Would the coin go to 100 to 200 million? Yes. Why is it not going there right now? Even though it's already confirmed to be the SpaceX mascot, because everyone is waiting for a catalyst. Everyone is waiting for something to happen. And that's just how it is. And so as much as you may disagree with everything that I'm saying right now, you can't ignore that what I'm saying is true. This is one of the big things about being in meme coins and shit coins, and even honestly when the whole Trump thing was happening with Iran and the tariffs, it was like tariffs are on, okay, market dumps, tariffs are off, everything is post-narrative and that's it. Everyone is just waiting for some catalyst. So those are my thoughts, let me know what you think.
