#IOTA [Spoken audio]: Every international shipment generates dozens of documents that move between exporters, customs authorities, logistics providers, banks, and regulators. When information is fragmented across organizations, delays become inevitable. The Trade Logistics Information Pipeline, or T-LIP, demonstrated that this can be different. By securely sharing verified trade data across participating organizations, border clearance times were reduced from weeks to days, while eliminating repeated document exchanges and improving data quality across the supply chain. Building on TLIP, the trade worldwide information network TWIN extends this approach globally. Rather than replacing existing systems, TWIN connects them through open standards, allowing each organization to retain control of its own data while securely sharing verified information only with authorized participants. Under the hood, IOTA provides the decentralized trust layer. Trade documents are cryptographically verifiable, identities are trusted, every exchange is auditable, and data integrity can be independently verified without relying on a single central operator. The approach is already moving beyond pilots. KenTrade, the Kenya Revenue Authority, and TLIP community nodes now exchange information through secure multi-node connectivity, keeping data at its source while enabling shared visibility across agencies. The same Game architecture is now scaling through TWIN into new trade corridors and digital public infrastructure initiatives. This is more than digitizing documents. It is creating trusted digital infrastructure for global trade where governments, ports, logistics providers and financial institutions can collaborate using verifiable data, faster processes and interoperable systems.
