Investing Advice as a young college student (with no debt or loans) who is just now starting to invest with spare money from my part time job, what avenue should I take to investing? I took a financial literacy class in high school and my teacher just emphasized that index funds and cd's are the way to go because of the low risk compared to individual stocks, crypto, etc. However, I've just now realized that there is so much complexity to index funds, even the s&p and nasdaq have mini versions which are 1/10th the value. Considering my very low capital would it be best to just dip my toes in with the mini nasdaq and let it ride for a few months, maybe contributing a 10-20% addition from the initial investment every month?
