→ Quantum computing isn't a threat for tomorrow anymore it's a challenge blockchains need to prepare for today. ~ While Bitcoin was built for a different era, newer chains like @Aptos and Algorand are already thinking about what security looks like in a post-quantum world. ~ [Spoken audio]: The quantum is definitely one of the biggest threats to Bitcoin going forward into the future and every blockchain out there. There's been a lot of talk about the quantum threat, especially for Bitcoin and Ethereum. I asked Joe Lubin yesterday, and he was kind of like, you know, consensus rules at the end of the day. And these chains have to figure out how to, you know, address the quantum threat, whether it's five or 10 or 15 years from now. But it does kind of seem like the aptosses and sues of the world have a competitive advantage here by, you know, being able to essentially be quantum resistance from the get go. The quantum is definitely one of the biggest threats to Bitcoin going forward to the future and every blockchain out there. Bitcoin in particular is because it changes a lot slower in terms of pace. From the Aptos side of view, we've got a great cryptography team, world class, they've already kind of designed the quantum mechanics that support upgrade instantaneously on chain. Just being able to rotate your key, So quantum resistance key should actually secure all your assets. And there was a coin-based study that came out recently that kind of demonstrated, like, you know, Aptos and like Algorand are the only chains that are kind of quantum ready, if that makes sense. And quantum will be no, you know, no particular big challenge for us to upgrade to because we've already got the technology ready, we've already prepared, we're prepared and we know exactly how we're going to support it whenever the threat comes.
