What are the problems trading firms have with the exchanges in DeFi today? @0xSimonJones and @jack_gk talked about this in a recent podcast. [Spoken audio]: The issue at the moment is not what are the problems that the NASDAQ has. It's actually more the exchanges that already exist in DeFi. What are the problems that they have and why is Rea demonstrary better? And one of the big things is speed. There is a large body of trading firms in traditional finance that trade at sub microsecond trading speed, microsecond being one hundredth of a millisecond. And these firms are called high frequency trading. This is a HFT. They do about 60 percent of the volume on a given day in traffic. Just gives you an idea of how important they are. And the exchanges that exist in DeFi today are not providing infrastructure that operates at that level of speed. And you can do that, historically people have tried, by building exchanges that doesn't look like something that operates on blockchain rails. So it becomes just more like a centralized exchange.
