I FOMOed BTC at 73k and panic sold into the June drop Been investing on and off for a few years, mostly boring index stuff, with a small crypto sleeve I keep on a separate exchange just so I do not mix it mentally with the long term stuff. I told myself I was just going to DCA a couple hundred a week and leave it alone. That plan lasted exactly until June 1. Everyone on my feed was posting breakout charts and 100k targets. I watched BTC run from the high 60s into the low 70s and finally bought in around 73k because it felt like missing the move was the bigger risk. Then the drop started. Three or four days later the same accounts were posting meme charts about crypto going to zero and I sold somewhere around 66k. Lost money on both sides of the trade.
