Do you actually know what you're signing when you use a hardware wallet for DeFi signed an approval last week on a new LP, glanced at the device screen, and it just said "Data Present." clicked through bc i recognized the dApp. then sat there for a minute wondering what i had actually authorized. like, be honest. how many of you are toggling blind signing ON in the eth app every time you touch a contract that isnt uniswap or aave?? bc thats most of defi rn. my ledger has been fine for sends and swaps inside ledger live, the clear signing stuff there is solid. but the second i hop into a smaller protocol via walletconnect im back to staring at a hash. trezor isnt really different here in my experience, the friendly label shows up for big protocols but the actual contract details often dont surface the way youd want. cool. i picked up an ERA Wallet a while back because a friend showed me how it turns the calldata into something normal on the device screen itself before you sign. erc-7730 v2 dropped in april and governance moved to the ethereum foundation, so in theory every wallet gets better at this. in practice my last three interactions with newer protocols were still hashes. so whats your workflow, are you clear signing everything or just trusting?
