Configuring infra and managing stacks shouldn't be what keeps founders up at night. This is exactly why I have been digging into @CNPYNetwork lately. Imagine forking a chain and going live in minutes while retaining total control. No more getting buried under layers of complex

Guess who did make the deadline... @ripple [Spoken audio]: Now, Europe has seen major regulatory developments this week with the MICA Transitional Period Ending, and the UK's also FCA finalizing its crypto rulebook. What do these changes mean now for crypto firms operating across Europe? Well, thank you so much for having me. So what does it mean? Everything and nothing in a way, because many of these tools are things that we your opinion were coming. I think to start with the EU, the Mika transition period came to an end this week. And again, as we kind of saw coming, an estimated 80% of firms were unable to offer services to the customers across the EU because they had to shut down if they didn't have a license. And that has left us in a period of presumed consolidation because the larger firms who did get their licenses will start absorbing those customers. And so you've got a little bit of a market shift happening as a result of that. Alongside that, they have started conversations about Mika 2.0 and what that could look like. There are areas that they didn't cover previously, such as tokenized wholesale markets and cross-border stablecoin activities. But they'll also look at whether or not the authorization and the supervisory authority should sit with the ESMA instead of being within the individual countries because that is where a lot of the delays in licensing have taken place. As you said, the FCA chose a really great timing with their policy statements. Again, this is legislation that has existed since 2023, but we were awaiting the rule book from the regulator to have the clarity for what regulations and rules looked like for crypto activity in the UK. Mostly these policy statements were in line with what people were expecting. There was a slight change around stable coins, capital requirements, which was on the back of a lot of industry pushback that was reduced from 2% to 1%. But there's also been great clarity put on the timeline for achieving that licence and that authorisation. And I And I think that is where the UK will or should be trying to be a differentiator where we've learned lessons from how Mika authorisations were a little slow and were difficult. And for a lot of fans here, there seems to be a lot of emphasis on engagement and clarity and giving very long timelines to help the fans get into place.
