> **Visual Note:** A verified Pi Network (@PiC...) tweet announces the Pi2Day 2026 Ecosystem Quest ran June 28–July 13 to help "Pioneers" explore new apps and features, prompting criticism from PCT who call the repeated recap meaningless while flagging absent updates like smart contracts still in testnet.

>
> "PIONEERS — PCT: Let’s talk about the Quest again!

Here we go again...

PCT is out here telling us about the Ecosystem Quest for the 4th time this month but where are the real features?

The Quest recap is not the update we need.

 Smart contracts? Still in testnet."

> **Visual Note:** A cropped screenshot of a Pi Network protocol upgrade announcement highlights the mandatory step-by-step upgrade path from v19.1 to v27.0, emphasizing a highlighted status that all nodes must be on version 26.1 by 08/11/2026. The image underscores the post's concern about repeated missed upgrade deadlines, questioning whether the v26 deadline will finally be met on time.

>
> "PIONEERS — Tomorrow is the v26 deadline. Let's check the record. Upgrade deadlines so far:
 v23 – late
 v24 – late
 v25 – late
 v26 – ???

Will PCT finally break the streak? What's actually in v26?
Smart contracts? DEX? Launchpad?
or just another"
