A new open access paper by Moslem Ansarinasab (Vali-e-Asr University) studies how green cryptocurrencies (ADA, ALGO and NANO) interact with clean energy markets and financial risk (VIX), using Bitcoin as the non-green benchmark. The data covers 2019 to 2025. Green cryptocurrencies, Nano included, lined up with clean energy markets over the medium and long term, while Bitcoin stayed detached from them and tied to wider market stress. Nano was the noisiest and most volatile of the three in the short term, which the author links to thinner market depth, but its long-term behaviour still followed clean energy trends."
