The “silver to Bitcoin’s gold” comparison has never been enough of a reason for me to hold it on its own. That belief is behind my monthly buys. I add a little manually and keep that LTC as a long-term position. I don’t expect the price to reward my patience every month, though. Keeping a separate trading allocation gives me some flexibility while I hold. When the market moves sideways, there can be opportunities to trade the swings. I use bydfi’s futures grid bot for that part, setting a price range for it to trade within. It can still lose money if the market trends out of the range."
