[Spoken audio]: Welcome to the Hashgraph Basics Tutorial Series. I'm your host, Jake, and today we'll be creating a new Hedera wallet using Hashpack. For instructive purposes, we'll be creating this wallet via the Chrome desktop browser. However, the same methods can be used with mobile devices or other compatible browsers. To begin, type hashpack.app forward slash download into your address bar and press enter. This will take you to the Hashpack Downloads page on their site. Here you will see multiple options for creating a Hashpack Wallet on the Hedera Hashgraph Network. You can download the Hashpack app on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. You can install the Hashpack Chrome extension, or you can launch the Hashpack Web App and create a wallet using your browser. For instructive purposes, this is the method we'll be going with. Once you have clicked launch web app, a new tab will open to wallet.hashpack.app. This is where you will create and use your hashpack wallet. This opening screen should look similar, whether using the hashpack web app, Chrome extension, or mobile app. You are presented with three options. I already have a wallet. For users who have already gone through the process of creating a Hedera wallet, either through hashpack or elsewhere, and wish to import their wallet into a new device. Connect hardware wallet for users who have a hardware or cold storage wallet, like a ledger, that they wish to connect to Hashpack. And finally, create a new wallet for users wishing to create a new wallet on the Hedera Hashgraph network. This is what we'll be selecting. After doing so, you'll be greeted with a page asking you to create a password to unlock your Hashpack wallet and to agree with hash packs, terms and conditions. This password is tied to your chosen device and is separate from your created wallet. So if you choose to import your wallet into a new device at a later date, keep in mind that you will have to create a new password for that device. Once you have created your password and accepted the hash pack terms and conditions and privacy policy, you are free to continue wallet creation by clicking Next. On this page, you have the option to tie your newly created wallet to your email address. This can be a simpler option for new users, but for the purposes of this tutorial, we will be going through the Advanced Creation option by selecting Create a New Wallet. On the next page, you'll be asked to choose to create either an ECDSA account, which which is fully smart contract compatible but cannot be rekeyed, or an ED25519 account, which can be rekeyed but is not fully compatible with all smart contracts. Based on your user needs, either option can be used, but because I personally will want to rekey the wallet that I create today afterwards, I will be choosing to create a ED25519 account. Once we have selected which type of account we wish to create, we will be asked to save the randomly generated seed phrase which will serve as the key to our newly created wallet. We are showing you this seed phrase page for the purposes of instruction, but please remember, you should never share your seed phrase or private key with anyone for any reason. Once I have gone through wallet creation for this account and finished the tutorial, I will re-key this wallet and generate a new seed phrase that I will keep secret and that will make the one you see here unusable. Again, when you are creating a wallet, never share your seed phrase or private key with anyone for any reason, as that is all they need to gain complete control over your wallet and any assets held in that wallet. Now that you've been appropriately warned, once you are at this page, you should write down the 24 unique words that make up your seed phrase. Keep this record handy for the next step, and afterwards, make sure to store it in a safe and secure manner. Once you have copied down your seed phrase, click Next. You will then be asked to verify your seed phrase to make sure you copied it down correctly. Once you have completed this step, click Next. Afterwards, you will be asked to give your wallet a nickname, select your currency display, and choose whether or not you wish to enable unlimited auto-association. Enabling it will allow any token created on the Hedera network to be sent to you. If you would prefer to associate tokens to your account manually, leave this option unchecked. Once you are ready, click Create Wallet. After a brief processing period, you will be greeted with the unique account ID tied to your newly created Hedera wallet. This is the address that you will use to send or receive HBAR, or other tokens available on the Hedera Hashgraph network. You are also given the option to reveal and save both your seed phrase and your private key for the wallet. Either of these will allow you to re-import your created wallet into Hashpack or any other Hedera wallet service. So make sure you have them saved and stored in a safe place. After you confirm that you have done so, click Let's Go. And you will be taken to the Hashpack Wallet Dashboard. Here you can experience a wide variety of what the Hashgraph network has to offer. So please take the time to look around and examine Hashpack's many features. With that, I think you're ready to create a wallet on Hedera using Hashpack. [Spoken audio]: Hey everyone, it's me Jeremy with Ivy Phi and today I wanted to make a quick video Showing the governors how they're gonna vote and displaying the new governance portal So I'm gonna go ahead and share my screen here And as you can see we've got the Ivy Phi app up here And I'm gonna go if you go to the three little Lines over here go down to portfolio And then if you're a governor because the voting is for governors only you'll go to the governor NFT section and then it'll show you governance voting. Now if you haven't swapped for the new governor you can go down here and swap your leaf so that you'll be able to vote but click here and it's going to take you to the governance portal. This particular proposal is to list our token IVFI token on a DEX and what options there are for that so you can read the governance proposal here. But if you just want to vote, this is the proposal ID. You expand the vote here and it'll automatically check your wallet and show you how many points you can get. So each governor leaf and you have to have one to vote is worth 10 points. So if you have five leaves in your wallet that's 50 points, you don't have to do it from separate wallets. And then we wanted to add a participation aspect to it so you can get up to each booster pack is worth one point so there's three booster packs in here so that's going to give me an extra three points on my vote that will go up to ten if you had 15 those other five would not count just the ten on the booster pack so you scroll down here it's very simple to use and you cast your vote for what you want so option one is list on salsa swap option two list on silk Suite. Option 3 is List on Silk Suite and Saucer Swap and then option 4 is No Listing. So I'm going to vote here for this listing on both here and highlight it, submit my vote. It's going to give me the topic here. I'm going to approve that and that's it. Now if I go down it shows me my vote has been recorded for the dual listing 13 points and if we go down here it's going to update in real time I'm the only one that's voted for that on testnet so far but it's going to look exactly the same for you governors when you're voting but that's the same as simple as it is to vote and this is what the portal will look like for votes going forward but that should help you out if you have any questions drop in the Discord and we'll be glad to answer them but it's pretty straightforward, easy to use, and that's all that you should need in order to vote on the IV5 platform.
