On 3 August another block of 2709 calls showed up on deribit which, if that second transaction was also GME, would total 4709, the exact amount of the 4710 btc GME owns that they’d previously pledged to coin base and earmarked for their covered call strategy. On September 25, a block of 4709 calls with a 70k strike were bought back and another block of the same amount and strike with an October 30 expiry appeared as sold on Deribit. That specific number seems too precise to me to be unrelated. Why that date (which coincides with warrant expiry) and the same very in the money strike? Not clear, just something I noticed and hadn’t seen explicitly discussed."
