A speaker, identified as Kristaps Grinbergs from Flare, appears in a small picture-in-picture window in the bottom right corner throughout the video. The scene remains visually unchanged across all frames, with only the speaker's subtle movements and changing caption text ("SMART CONTRACTS ARE DETERMINISTIC," "INTO A CONFIDENTIAL OFF-CHAIN EXECUTION," "PRIVATELY," "NO ONE CAN," etc.) progressing as he explains the concept. > > "Smart contracts are deterministic and public. Flare Compute Extensions let you extend those workflows into confidential off-chain execution—sensitive logic in TEEs, not on-chain. Here's @fassko from @FlareDevHub on Flare Confidential Compute. [Spoken audio]: compare, like this, you can say that smart contracts are deterministic and public and flare compute extensions, let us extend smart contract workflows into a confidential off-chain execution. So that means that we have some kind of work, but we can do it confidentially, privately. We can do that outside of blockchain on trusted execution environment, these machines that no one can alter and if the hashes don't match the code but is running there then actually the integrity also falls apart. So instead of putting sensitive private information into smart accounts, we can delegate just this logic. We don't need to delegate all the logic to a T machine to this T extension. But still smart contracts that they remain in like in center in coordination and they still our verification layer because everything still is like the registry of the machines leaves on flair and all the data providers they still have come on consensus that these instructions are should be relayed back and forth and yeah so this gives us developers completely new design pattern so we can think of the mental model that public settlement so we still see that, okay, stuff has happened, the private execution. So maybe very good example, I think is like notary." ### Post #2 by @FlareNetworks > **Author:** Flare ([@FlareNetworks](https://x.com/FlareNetworks)) > **Metrics:** 165 likes · 43 retweets · 49 comments · 19.2K views > **Posted:** 2026-06-26T20:00:01+00:00 > **Source Link:** [https://x.com/FlareNetworks/status/2070597971985498296](https://x.com/FlareNetworks/status/2070597971985498296) > **Video Content:** The video features a slide presentation titled "Flare Compute Extensions" with three key components displayed: The Application Model, Confidential Execution, and Security Model, while a presenter (Kristijan Grgicevac) speaks in a small picture-in-picture window in the bottom right corner.
