Shorting
$ZEC
right now is basically trying to call the top.

Back in 2021, how many of you could actually call the top of
$AXS
while it was in a strong uptrend? And how many actually got it right?
$ZEC
 feels a lot like
$AXS"

> **Visual Note:** A weekly chart of Axie Infinity ($AXS) shows the token's dramatic decline from an all-time high of $165.37 in 2021 to $0.90 in 2025, a drop of approximately 99% and roughly 65% in just the past week alone. The accompanying Axie Infinity logo on the right, paired with the post's mention of its former $40 billion valuation and the "play-to-earn" craze that once had people quitting their jobs, illustrates how the once-prominent top-20 cryptocurrency has collapsed into near-worthlessness.

>
> "Once valued at over $40 billion.

A top-20 cryptocurrency.

People were quitting their jobs to play it.

Now, Axie Infinity
$AXS
is down ~99% from its all-time high.

What happened?"
