The vote itself was historically close. It narrowly passed with 41.1% in favor versus 38.5% against, in the highest-ever turnout vote in Cosmos ecosystem history. It was projected to fail mere hours before the deadline, but a late surge of votes and some validator reversals swung the outcome."
