[Spoken audio]: Midnight is the first partner chain, as the first control layer of Cardano, and there it brings privacy, selective disclosure, and also abstraction to the systems. And through Midnight, you can talk to Bitcoin and Solana and Ethereum, and you can transact into those systems. So here's a great example of what we're going to do this year on the network, and it kind of elucidates the concept. So I have a bridge called Pulgan. It's for Bitcoin DeFi. So I'm going to take 50 of my Bitcoin, I'll reach into the couch cushions and grab them out. And I'm going to put it into a taproot address on Bitcoin. And then I'm going to lend it on the Cardano network after going through a bridge into a stablecoin, in this case, USDCR, USDC. And then I'm going to take that, and I'm going to put it into a yield-bearing real-world asset, GenerityEel. It'll take the yield, put it to a DEX, buy a wrap Bitcoin, and have it come through. Now, the user experience on the Bitcoin side is just a button. You click the button, Make Yield. And then all this stuff happens behind the scenes with all these transactions, bridge transactions, Lending these things and I should just start generating Bitcoin yield from my perspective midnight access the four nation layer So it transmits the intent it figures out how to put all these things together and adds privacy in that transaction I still sounds pretty complicated though not really because the Bitcoin side is is just a button and everything else is automated Okay, you see that's the magic of it It can be hidden under the wallets and in the smart contracts And that's how DeFi needs to be from the consumer's perspective You can't have five hops or ten hops or ten steps And banking does this when you talked about alternative products or exotic products and layering products and these things all these synthetics are horrendously complex and they have all kinds of insurance and other things they put on People trade risk over here and they have to decide what category they want to be in the end user Just as what's to return and they buy the asset They accept the disclosure and then they start getting the return of that. Oh, so it's midnight Can we draw liquidity away from Cardano? No, in this particular case, it actually added liquidity. Because it created a bridge for Bitcoin to come into the Cardano network and generate yield. And it facilitated all of that. You see, you see, so there's 2.9 million Bitcoin, if you just look at Zappo and Blancy.com, Bitcoin.com and these other guys, they're just sitting dormant with their customers and not doing anything, not generating anything. That's more valuable than the entire TVL of Ethereum and Solana combined. So the age of Bitcoin defies here, it's a colossal market, and people who hold it, they want to get yield, but it needs to be non-custodial, it needs to use the security of the Bitcoin network, it needs to be very simple and easy to use, in many cases, you know, privacy layer for this type of system, because they don't want to reveal the market that they're using yield products or other things."

I've about given up on crypto, just frustrated. This is why mainstream adoption will never occur like this. I used Yoroi, yes it had plain UI and basic, was upgraded here and there and then the hack. I needed to claim NIGHT and I have been working for hours to get Eternl set up. I finally got it, updated any Ledger software, hardware, Cardano app, all of it us updated, Chrome, etc. I get to the part about signing the tx and I get the error about not having the input tx and utxo. Now I have to research what is wrong and all I find is the "clear your browser cache", "log out and back in", "reset the wallet", "delete the account and wallets and reinstall" and I did all those and the same exact error. Then I get "try "x wallet" I mean ffs there is a bug or issue and after all those things I just have to try it all again in another wallet? I did not copy the bug and go to discord with it, I doubt it would be seen and since I can't find anything specific about the bug I doubt they would even reply."
