I had a look at the transactions myself here. I'll bring it up on screen And you can see there the Trivitec guys have indeed passed that 100k mark. You can see there 102,456 transactions at the time of this recording. It may have gone up now. This is directly to one of their smart contracts. And you can see here on the right, this is the the forensic management system, the FMS Trivo FMS contract. And this is for police forensics. And you're thinking, what on earth is going on here? Why are they building this? What's going on? So I dug into this to have a look at exactly what the team are building or what they have built here and what data they're putting on chain. So let me read where this all comes from for you guys to get up to speed. So let me pull up the details here. This was funded in Project Catalyst Fund 12. So about maybe a year and a half ago, this project kicked off and They've been constantly updating the community with the amount of transactions that have been going on chain. And let me go into exactly what they've built. So this is the problem statement here. In India, the police forensic departments face significant challenges in maintaining the security and integrity of the chain of custody for evidence. The chain of custody is the most critical process of evidence documentation. It is essential to ensure the court of law that the evidence is authentic, meaning it is the same evidence that was seized at the crime scene. So essentially what they're doing is putting all the evidence on chain. This kind of reminds me of a very similar proof of concept that the Kadana Foundation did with the Dubai police a while back where they're putting all the forensic data also on chain. I don't know what came about of that pilot. Maybe they ended at that point, but it seems that the same technologies, same ideas and concept were transferred over to the Indian police force here for that evidence tracking. So that's a really cool thing there. Now this is the actual solution that they delivered. Let me read this one for you. To mitigate this risk and secure the chain of custody, we are proposing to develop a blockchain-based solution using Kodano smart contracts and zero knowledge proofs. So the hash generation, at the time of evidence being logged, our backend will generate a SHA256 hash for the case ID and all of the aliases and sub aliases related to the case at the time of upload encapsulating this data securely. The next part, the blockchain stamping with zero knowledge proof, the SHA-256 hash along with the zero knowledge proof public key can be proved with an open source script with a sub key that can be proved with an open source script will be stamped on the Cardano blockchain. This ensures that the hash corresponds accurately to the original identifiers without revealing any sensitive information. This step guarantees any tampering attempt would be evidence as altering the data would result in a hash mismatch. The zero knowledge proof would fail to verify. Now I would love to know how that evidence actually ties in with the zero knowledge proof and the hash, is it barcode or something? I'm not too sure there, but I would love to know. Now Trivitech, I also got some more proposals that they put up within the catalyst process. And another really big one was about the Indian chain. And this is bringing more of the Indian government on chain on Khadana itself. We will potentially see more and more of these transactions all on chain. This is all really exciting stuff because this isn't just proof of concept. This is actually deploying enterprise solutions for government on chain and using it as well. Now this all came about, this Indian chain one came about in Fund 14 of Project Catalyst. So a little bit after, but you may have seen glimpses of this one online. This is all about working with the Ministry of Agriculture and securing records of over 5.8 million farmers and 14.3 million acres of land on Qadano. entering and storing all of that metadata on chain. And that takes a lot of transactions to do and they are actually going through and doing that. So this is amazing stuff you too. And the whole point of this is to enable those farmers a direct line of credit through their transparent methods online on chain. They know who the farmers are, they know what land plots they own and whatever is stored on the metadata there and they can potentially open up lines of credit so that they can harvest next year's crops or half or even plant a new crop within that region. So that's the idea here. And having that data allows the government and the ministry of agriculture to enable these farmers to do more. So it's really cool stuff all powered by Cardano.
