This is just not a good look. And I'm going to let it all out in this video, man, because Cardano was one of the assets that I got into in 2021 when I really started getting invested in crypto. I've learned so much. I'm still learning every single day. And this crypto space, man, it will drive you crazy. If there's anything that I have learned though, man, is he got to pivot and you can't get locked in on one asset because what's going on with ADA right now and the founder? I just, I'm flabbergasted. I'm shocked. I am just all over the place. I don't know what the hell to think. Now, the Cardano ADA founder, Charles Hoskinson, continues just to make unusual statements after unusual statements. The most recent is that we could create a new Cardano. It's like, no, we've been around for nine plus years. Now, mind you, I don't even own any Cardano anymore. I used to. Last time I owned Cardano was about two years ago. And I've moved on, but I've never kind of moved completely away from the community because I still think there's merit there. I think there's great developers. I think there's a great community. And it's just amazing what we're witnessing. So in this video, I want to break down exactly all the things that are happening. Make sure you guys are up to speed. Whether you own this asset, don't own it, thinking about getting back in because we're all over the place. On one hand, we just saw Cardano go down lower than 20 cents, first time in a long-ass time that happened. We are now well below our lows on Cardano, lower than the 2022 bear markets. We never even sniffed or scratched the previous all-time high from 2021. Didn't even come close. And now what's happening is like just baffling my mind. So, let's get into it. Let's take a look. Guys, hit the Like button. Subscribe down below. You guys know the drill. I want more and more people to see this and understand it. And people need to be aware of what's going on because basically, here's kind of a little bit of a catch-up. Charles Hoskinson warned that more decentralized finance applications could seize operations on the network in the second half of 2026. In a statement following the decision by TAPTools, a popular Cardano analysis platform to seize operations, so this is what's happening, man. I mean, TAPTools has been around forever. They said that the fundamental problems facing the ecosystem stem from a lack of commercialization, funding structure, and governance processes. So if you missed this past week, The largest Cardano summit didn't even pass through in the Cardano ecosystem where people vote on, you know, getting things passed. Hoskinson said the TAPTools spent $61 million this year despite generating only $71,000 in revenue, resulting in a massive net loss of $61 million. He noted that similar multimillion-dollar losses had been recorded in previous years, adding this is not sustainable. So he went on the attack for TAPTools. But the biggest thing is, the biggest Cardano summit isn't taking place because the community basically said, we don't have the money for this and we don't want this thing to be, you know, be done. So, you're basically losing your marketing, you're losing TAPTools, you're losing people in the ecosystem, developers that have been here for a very long time. Now, Hoskinson went on and said the TAPTools, you know, basically, you know, we don't need you anymore because you guys are spending too much money. The Cardano founder also said recently that he's taking a break after the asset's price ADA just collapsed. We're going to take a break. We're going to take a break. Perfect time to take a vacation. You know when you take a vacation, when things are going good. You don't take a vacation when things are going bad. Things are going horribly bad. And we're going to take a break. This is not the time to take a break. This is the time to punch the time clock and clock back in and work overtime. But this is a problem we see in crypto all the time, is these founders are the ones who get rich and famous. These founders and their families and their people around them, all of them reap the rewards and people get left holding the damn back. And I feel like that's what's happening with Cardano. It's happened with a bunch of other protocols. This isn't just Cardano specific, right? It's just the example to use right now. And having a front-facing leader like Charles Hoskinson can be a great thing, and I think it was a great thing for a very long time, but now it's turning into a terrible thing. Because your front-facing leader is now taking a freaking break when Cardano's collapsing. Their summit isn't even happening. Then he raises the idea of a new Cardano. He described it as an extreme option. Should the current structure fail to achieve the necessary transformation? Hoskinson stated that a new network could be launched using a proof-of-burn mechanism enabling the redesign of both the token economy and institutional finance models. Sounds like to me you're looking over at Hyperliquid saying, man, that buyback and burn thing actually works. You actually use your tokenomics in a way that if the business is benefiting your token It's another big issue we have in crypto. Don't get me started. All these damn governance tokens. There's a big issue with crypto right now because regardless of these companies doing good business, it doesn't necessarily mean the token goes up. What Hyperliquid did, it basically created a normal business. It created a normal business, meaning you do business, you do it well, your stock goes up. In this case, the hype token goes up. To me, it's like a no-brainer. Why did we ever not think of this? Why are there tokens out there that are just floating tokens that have no tie to the company doing business? Like Chainlink irritates the hell out of me, too. Chainlink has massive use case. They're intertwined and interconnected to so many different webs within blockchain and crypto. They're so much needed, but the link token fails to succeed because it's not tied to the business. Whoever created these tokenomics, it almost sounds like they wanted to make them just pure speculation plays. They didn't want people to actually benefit. You'd only benefit when hype was at the highest, like 2021, and you better get in, you better get out, or else you're going to be left holding the bag. And I feel like, you know, there's what's going on with Cardano right now, it's got to be frustrating the hell out of people. And it's why I've pivoted so many times over the last several years. And it's why the assets that I own right now, it's, first off, it's why I own so much more Bitcoin than I did in 2021. In 2021, when I first came into crypto in 2020, 2021, I own way more altcoins than Bitcoin. That has completely shifted now in 2026. I own way more Bitcoin than anything else. I've got some assets like XRP, Hyperliquid, you know, AndoFinance. I still invest in all coins, but this whole space is changing dramatically, man. And I'm ready with cash on the sidelines because I can't wait until we get this Clarity Act passed and we're actually going to see which tokens are going to do well because they've got good tokenomics, they're built into the future of the financial world with tokenization, with the agentic economy and all of this. But what's going on with Cardano right now, man? I cannot even wrap my head around it. If I was left holding this bag right now, I would be pissed. I would be pissed. It's failing, the price is tanking, the founder is leaving and the founder have lost all hope for Cardano. He is personally saying that this is a a debt project. When in reality, this is what Charles said. When you look at the actual progress in terms of the protocols, the engineering, the diversification, decentralization, we're massively ahead of where we were in 2021, massively. We've done things that we could only have dreamed of when I started the project. Laos's testnet is starting June 23rd, I think. When you look at it from a price appreciation, we're in the toilet, we're at 18 cents, it's a dead and failed project. How can we live in a world where on one hand we've done an incredible job and on the other hand, we're all failures? And that is the complete context. So Charles was presenting the two different realities through which people perceive Cardano right now. that on one hand, if you take a look at the technological advancements from let's say 21, we are massively ahead. We are a massively successful project because now if we compare ourselves to what, you know, what Cardano was in 21, we now have a lot of these, you know, we are getting more scalability upgrades. We are getting better throughput. We are getting better, you know, and more powerful smart contracts. We are getting better finality. We have a lot of these new integrations with the pike net for the layer zero, the USDCX and we have a lot of different partnerships. And ever since 2021, Cardano now has smart contracts, it now has governance. So when you take a look at it from the technology point of view, Cardano is a massively successful project because it has been improving a lot and it has been improving pretty drastically. But when you take a look at the price, which is obviously dropping just like every other health coin, you, you know, people think that it's a fail of projects. So you have two different reality of the same project at the same time. When you take a look at the technology, it's a successful project. when you take a look at the price, it looks like a failed project. And that is the entire message that you wanted to give out through this, through this quotations. But it got miscoded heavily by coin bureau saying this. And afterwards, when people pointed out, they deleted that tweet. No sorry, no apologies, no accountability, just deleted the tweet. And before we get into the new tweet that they have just made for Cardano and how again this is misquotation. Let's take a look at what they have been posting. Now, Coin Bureau, which of course I have been watching as well, I thought they were completely objective, unbiased. They disclosed all their paid promotions and everything else. But in reality, I think there are obviously some backroom deals that we are unaware of. So Coin Bureau have been talking a lot about real world asset tokenizations. They have been talking about it for years now, and they just made a video on it almost 10 days ago, but when we actually had a massive news regarding real world tokenization, the DTCC and Stellar partnership, they had nothing to say. Moreover, in the last video that they made, they mentioned that crypto is falling, it's dropping, prices are dropping, but there are two tokens that are reporting decent gains that is hyper liquid and Zcash, when in fact it's not just hyper liquid and Zcash it's also stellar but they had nothing to say about that. And also when they talked about Zcash here right after they published the video or it came out Zcash dropped 50% and they still kept the video up. Now it makes you realize that they are not completely objective. Even though it doesn't say that it's a paid promotion or anything else, the way that they are doing their reporting, it feels biased. Now, it's a, you know, it's a whole team that is doing all these things. There are multiple people making videos. There's obviously a whole team behind all these tweets that they are making because they make like 12 to maybe 20 tweets per day. So it's not one person that is doing all this. It's a whole team behind it. And if they are making these tweets. Of course there's a policy behind it. Of course it's a collective effort, a collective decision that they have made to trash Cardano. And it is so obvious that I think anyone that knows Cardano would know that all these are part of a propaganda and not reality. So we just debunked one tweet in which obviously you guys can understand very well how it was miscoded. Now there's a new tweet which says, huge Hoskinson warns of Cardano DeFi shutdowns in S2226. Charles Hoskinson says more Cardano DeFi apps could close in the second half of 2226, citing funding governance and commercialization problems. He also floated an extreme reset through a proof of burn if the ecosystem fails to change. Now again, complete and other misquotations. And here's the proof of it. So when TAPTools announced to shut down, Charles did this live stream and this is where they are getting this code from. Now what they're saying is that Charles is saying that Cardano DeFi, they are going to shut down because of funding issues, because of governance, because of commercialization problems, which in a way that they are trying to tell others that all these are internal problems of Cardano when in fact the first and the major problem that Charles pointed out because of which these Cardano apps can fail that can collapse is not an internal problem of Cardano it's the overall market and it's mentioned nowhere here so here's Here's what Charles actually said. So he continued to talk about some other things in which he said that there are ways through which we can solve this. I presented a proposal for it, mentioning about an index, which you can get more information off from this article that we have, which says that Charles recently outlined a major funding strategy aimed at strengthening the Cardano ecosystem. And under the proposal, the Cardano Treasury could invest data into selected projects within the network and return those projects which share a portion of the revenue with the Treasury and regularly purchase data from the market. The goal is to create steady demand for the token while supporting ecosystem growth. This proposal was not accepted. And this was Charles' way of saying that I did present a solution to this problem, but it got shut down, people refused it. And so it's like, you know, what can I do at this point? You want me to save these protocols when I present a proposal on how we can, you know, save these protocols, the proposal gets shut down. When I talk about how we can acquire those projects that are getting shut down, People start mentioning about the centralization issues and other stuff. So it's like I'm stuck in both ways. But the first thing that he said is that they're going to shut down not because of internal problems, but because of the overall market. And it is nowhere highlighted in this tweet, not even mentioned in the tweet. They're trying to prove that all these Cridon D apps, they are going to fail because of internal problems like funding and governance and commercialization, which of course are true. But the first major reason isn't even this. They didn't mention the major reason and they mentioned all the reason that were associated with Cardano internally. And they also mentioned about how Charles floated the idea, the extreme reset through Pooferburn if the ecosystem fails to change. Now, again, absolutely no context. Why Charles said this, which I'm gonna play the video for you guys, so you can watch it with context, and then we're gonna talk about it. They need to go, and they need to be exiled. We have to get rid of them. And there's options, by the way. It's not me just talking. We could launch a new Cardano and have a proof of burn. That would be the most extreme, but powerful, because all of those shitposting people that think we're so incompetent and incapable of doing things, they wouldn't migrate and they would be left behind like a skin of evil in a toxic hellscape they created themselves with no market, no volume, no commercialization. Why he said that, you know, we have this extreme option is not because Cardano in itself as a chain is failing or it's collapsing, which is exactly what coin bureaus, you know, tried to portray here. The reason why Charles said that we can do this is because there is a group of people here in Cardano that are, you know, when Charles or, you know, when input output and other such entities that present proposals for commercialization, you know, to improve Cardano's utility, they get shut down. And when they get shut down, when we don't get utility, when we don't get a stronger TVL, the same people, they start criticizing Charles, that start criticizing input output for lack of TVL, for lack of DeFi growth, for lack of commercialization. And that is, that is what he mentioned that we have this, you know, this group of people that are doing this. And the way that we can get rid of these people is by launching a new chain and using proof of burn. So anyone that, you know, everyone that have era here, they will burn their tokens here and they will, you know, mint equivalent amount of tokens on the other chain. And the reason for that was not because Cardano as a chain is collapsing, but to get rid of this group of people that are of this idea that they, that they don't accept commercialization. They don't accept proposals for commercialization. And when it doesn't happen, when we don't get utility, when we don't get higher DeFi TVL growth, they're the same people that criticize that spreads foot around Cardano for not having DeFi growth for not having utility for not having adoption. And that is the context behind it. But how they're stacking up these different codes together, although they are part of different conversations, they're stacking these statements together to give out this message that Cardano as a chain is collapsing. The founder has no hope. The founder himself says that this is a dead project. The founder is himself saying that the only method that through which we can save this chain is to launch a new chain and reset it completely. That is the message that they want to give out. And obviously this is all part of a propaganda. Now we have another tweet that we have here that says, Cardano founder says, he's not the person to return ERA to all time highs. He will leave X for the summer, citing toxicity, but remains committed to Cardano. That says, Cardano founder says he's not the person to return ERA to all time highs. Again, just one statement without the context. Even you watch this video you don't get the complete context. The complete context of this statement is that he doesn't want to play this game where he promises people that he is going to return Eira to its all-time high even though it's the same person that led Eira to almost $3 to its all-time high. But what he wants to say is, and he specifically mentioned the example of Vitalik Butrin, the founder of Ethereum, that he made Ethereum worth billions of dollars and now the same person is being criticized and the same chain is being criticized for being a dead chain, for having an identity crisis, for being a failed project. And that's what Charles was saying that even if I push Cardano towards its all damn highs, there will always be people that will be demanding more. They will still say that the chain is dead, the project is dead. And he said that he doesn't want to play that game. He doesn't want to focus on the price because if you focus on the price, you will never make people happy. And he doesn't want to play that game. But he wants to focus on is the actual technology, the, you know, the vision behind blockchain technology in itself. Why was it created? What solutions does it offer to the people? He wants to focus on this instead of the price. And that's what he was mentioning, that if your sole purpose is to pump the price through dirty backroom deals, then get someone else because that's not me. What I can offer you is a blockchain that is progressing in terms of technology, in terms of innovation, but not purely pumping the token. That was his context. I cannot even capture the entire context here, but that was a basic gist of the message they wanted to to give out that got completely misquoted here. I mean, if you were someone who doesn't know about Crudano, how would you interpret this sentence? Crudano founder says he's not the person to return it to all time highs. So you will understand that we are being targeted. We are being attacked by a propaganda machine, who they are, what their objective is. I mean, I'm sure we know what the objective is. But who they are, that is something we don't know. They are obviously funding this propaganda. There are deals in place, obviously, that we are unaware of that is happening. But we have to wake up to this reality. When people pointed out to Coin Bureau about their tweet, of course, they had to delete it. Just like this, point out all these misquotations, all these propaganda that you see on Twitter or on any social media channel, get these tweets, get these posts removed. And what I would say is, don't give in to this fund. Every altcoins price is dropping, not just altcoin, but bitcoin, not just bitcoin, but the overall market, not just the overall crypto market, but the stock market is dropping. And not just the stock market, but gold prices are dropping, silver prices are dropping. So it's almost every financial market that is dropping at the moment, not just crypto currencies. So don't give in to this fud. Endure this tough time that we are in and trust the future outlook of the project. That man is Charles Hoskinson, co-founder of Ethereum, founder of Cardano, one of the most credentialed names in the entire history of blockchain. And what you just heard him say, in his own words, is this. I'm not exactly sure what my role is to resolve this. Let that sink in. What triggered this? In early June 2026, TapTools, one of Cardano's most prominent analytics platforms, running for four years announced it was shutting down. leadership exits, unsustainable infrastructure costs, low revenue, a bear market bleeding the ecosystem dry. Hoskinson responded with a video that was supposed to reassure the community. It did the opposite. He warned that more Cardano DeFi projects will collapse in the second half of 2026. He said the Cardano Treasury, sitting on billions in ADA, is not being deployed aggressively enough because community governance votes keep rejecting proposals. The community even voted to cancel the 2026 Cardano summit in Singapore. He admitted the Cardano foundation structure was one of his worst design decisions. And then he said he is stepping back, posting TTYL on X and going silent, because he is, in his words, tired of the toxicity. Here is the part that should concern every single ADA holder. ADA is currently trading at around 61 cents. It briefly dipped below 20 cents earlier this year, a five-year low, down approximately 70% in the past 12 months, and over 90% from its 2021 peak. The comparison nobody is saying out loud. Think about what this looks like from the outside. Imagine Pavel Durov, the founder of Telegram, getting on camera to tell you that Ton, now being rebranded to Gram, has serious problems and he is not sure how to fix them. Or imagine Satoshi Nakamoto reappearing after years of silence to tell the world he is not sure Bitcoin is going in the right direction. Both of those scenarios would crash the price of those tokens overnight. Not because the technology changed, but because in crypto, founder confidence is the product. The belief is the value. Hoskinson built Cardano's entire identity on a promise. Peer-reviewed research, methodical development, the academic approach that would eventually make it the Ethereum killer. He had the credentials. He had the community, he had the narrative. But here is the honest reality, Ethereum is still Ethereum, Solana kept building. And Cardano, despite over a decade of development and some of the most serious academic research behind any blockchain in existence, is watching its DeFi project shut down one by one while its founder uploads a video saying he does not know what his role is anymore. And this is the bigger question. Hoskinson defended himself. He said the Genesis keys are burned. He holds no governance keys. He has no direct treasury access. Cardano belongs to the community now, through on-chain governance. He told ADA holders, this is your chain, not mine. He said, I'm not here to pump ADA. If it is only about money, you will lose everyone, including me. Some in the community respect that. They call it honest decentralization. They say he is forcing the ecosystem to grow up and govern itself. But others are asking a harder question, is a visible founder actually the worst thing that can happen to a crypto project? This is Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, the professional victim who takes to Twitter to b***h and moan about all the problems with the treasury and not funding conferences and all the applications going belly up. You did this buddy, you and your friends at the founding orgs, Armurgo, Cardano foundation, tapping into these slush funds, dumping tokens on the community. Now nobody wants to fund your stupid ideas. You did this, you're not a victim, you're the aggressor, and you made people go broke on Cardano. Because when things are going well, the founder is the face, the hype, the belief system. But when things go wrong, the founder becomes the headline. And the headline this week is not good. Cardano was supposed to be the Ethereum killer. The research first, long game blockchain that would eventually win because it did things properly. Maybe that story still plays out. Maybe the community governance era produces something remarkable. But right now, from the words of the man who built it, the second half of 2026 is going to be very hard, more projects will die, and the founder is stepping back.
