My friend, Sara, and I have known each other since we were 5 years old. We've been best friends for as long as I can remember. I feel like the uncomfortable moments started in high school. Not because it was a secret but because of COVID, we didn't do a lot of group hang outs and it just slipped past me. When I found out about these friends, things were fine. But one of them, Briana, was very possessive and obviously didn't like that Sara and I were such good friends. After a while, I started to notice weird dynamics between Sara and Briana. I ignored them because I thought it was just their friendship and it wasn't affecting me. But then those weird things started to seep into my friendship with Sara, the main one being "play fighting". The first time I really noticed it was when she hit me in the arm really hard one day at lunch. I just looked at her and said "why did you do that?" and when she said she didn't know I told her not to do that again. She listened and I thought things were fine and it was just a random occurrence."
