It seems to me that purchasing a company under NDA and manufacturing a pcb with an lte radio on it would leave a mountain of evidence to track down the culprit (and hopefully recover the stolen funds). It doesn’t make sense to attempt such a sophisticated hack without a clear plan to cover your tracks. I’m suspicious there are still more dominoes to fall, the hack might have originated from somewhere else in the supply chain."
