At some point I thought it’d be great to play Gwent outside the game too, so I made my own version: Tavern Crowns. The gameplay follows classic Gwent logic: three rounds, win two, you start with ten cards and don’t draw new ones between rounds. The point isn’t to dump as many points as possible on the board, it’s to manage your cards well. Sometimes losing a round on purpose is the best move. There are spies, healers, weather cards and a fire that burns the strongest units, so if you love Gwent, you’ll feel right at home."
