Newbie OE here, Just got a contract offer from J2. They are asking me to sign Conflict of Interest Disclosure and agree to all BG checks. From what I have read on this sub, looks like its best to not disclose any information in the COI form But i'm kinda worried about BG checks, i have been contracting for a US company, so nothing they can find out with any Govt information, but I'm worried if they will call or email my current J1. that could land me trouble at J1 since they are a pretty small company. Since its my first OE, I mentioned the real J1 in the resume but never gave any contact info of J1. And there is no place where I can uncheck employer verification, the consultancy form says it needs me to agree to all BG."
