The greatness of the four-team format and even the two-team BCS system was that a rival had the ability to potentially not only ruin your season, but potentially your decade. I say potentially because in 2015, Oklahoma still made the Playoff despite losing the Red River Shootout 24-17. They still won the Big 12 and advanced to the CFP where they lost to Clemson."
