A week before we were to move out of our place, I learned about Eric. Eric helped him move out, despite my request that husband find someone else to help him move. He said no, Eric is coming. So I tried to make the best of the situation and was very friendly with Eric that day (cus I didn’t know what else to do and I was so tired of feeling sad). My friend however, was not as nice to Eric. Not mean, per se, but definitely cold. Towards husband as well. We moved out, and husband moved to Eric’s city. We kept in touch here and there, despite husband’s insistence that he wanted to remain good friends. It became clear however, that he could only speak to me when Eric was at work. I found this odd and annoying, and ultimately i felt that ex husband desired the friendship more, probably to ease his conscience."
