I also have a , so I can work in the US without needing visa sponsorship.
My university is well known in Europe, although obviously not a traditional US target. I also speak several languages.
Given my situation, how would you approach this?
Would it make sense to:
Directly apply to small M&A boutiques in the US, particularly NYC?
Try to get a boutique M&A internship in Europe first and then target the US?
Leverage my current Corporate Banking role and network internally to find M&A opportunities?
Cold email small/boutique advisory firms and try to create an internship opportunity?
I’m . I already have the bulge bracket experience. What I’m missing is , and I’m trying to find the most realistic way to get that.
For anyone who has made a similar transition from Corporate Banking → M&A, especially from Europe to the US,"
