I was not told that there would be a drug test before the interview. I am not familiar with the employment process as this is the first time I got like an office/corporate type job in the states. I only worked in restaurants before.
After going through the onboarding process, I looked more deeply into the company and read employee reviews. Based on what I found, I’ve changed my mind and no longer want to take the job.
Would it be okay for me to simply let the recruiter know that I’m withdrawing before completing the drug test? I remembered signing several forms like company policies and I-9.
