For context, I'm in northern NS where it's less populated but the population has been steadily growing. I moved here 6 months ago. There are lots of nice houses sitting on the market and more continue to enter. . the same houses that were up for sale when I moved here are still for sale despite price drops. Yet, more houses keep coming up for sale for 50%+ the price they were sold at just 1-2 yrs ago. Make it make sense. Are real estate agents and owners just hoping by chance to make a good return on investment in an ever softening market, or am I missing something?"
