I have been troubleshooting and its incredibly slow, and within firefox's "about:processes" window the cpu is stuck at 100% and the memory starts at 1GB then climbs up to 10BG and higher over a period of 15 minutes. Tried a fresh profile with firefox and no change. Am hoping there is a firefox hack that can make this thing usable and do not want to switch to chrome. All firefox input welcomed

I graduated with a computer engineering degree in Dec 2025. In January, I started working a 3 month contract at Apple through TEKsystems at $40/hr in the Bay area. After 3 months, my contract was extended and I was given a raise to $42.50/hr. I work in QA manual testing. However, I've also been doing data annotation and taking initiatives to build automation tools to speed up manual testing and labeling workflows. Site management at Apple was initially very encouraging of conversion but this seems to have slowed down. The guy seems much busier than before and it's difficult to get time with him. I was challenged to automate one of my manual tasks completely and present to management a couple levels up. It seems someone was building a solution in parallel to my efforts that I was unaware of. I built the tool anyway and validated the quality of the output with myself and a peer. Overall, I had spent 500 hours on this manual task with org-wide labor hours easily 1k and wanted to automate it away. Unfortunately, I never got a chance to present the work I did.
