I’ve been following the XRPN / XRPNW setup closely, and today’s price action deserves a deeper look because I think the common and the warrants are currently pricing two very different realities. XRPN has traded toward ~$40. XRPNW is still only around the mid-$3s. At first glance, that looks completely broken. With an $11.50 exercise price, a $40 common would imply roughly: $40 - $11.50 = $28.50 of eventual intrinsic value per warrant But that comparison is incomplete because of one critical detail: XRPNW cannot be exercised yet. The warrants become exercisable only after the applicable post-business-combination waiting period and registration conditions are satisfied. With closing currently expected around Oct. 7, the normal exercise window should not open immediately at closing."
