Preface by saying I have been invested in NVDA for over a decade, albeit, I took profits each time (approx. 1/2 dozen times) that I invested in this equity prior to 2023. In effect, I learned my lesson and now own almost 3000 shares at $94 cost basis, which I will NOT sell come hell or high water. So what's different this time? NVIDIA could approach or exceed $300 by year-end - is supported by the historic scale of capital return programs, such as the massive share repurchase authorization announced earlier this week and dividend increases, which underscore extraordinary operational confidence and cash generation. In a comment on this sub-reddit, I called it, "NVDA doing an Apple." Basically, share buybacks are what Apple has done since 2010. This has had a phenomenal positive effect on Apple's stock price. Specifically, this aggressive capital allocation shrinks the public float, creating natural upward support and amplifying earnings-per-share metrics that naturally attract institutional momentum.
