Changing the expiry fixed more than changing the strategy I spent way too long messing with indicators because I thought my entries were the problem. Eventually I went back through screenshots and noticed something pretty dumb. The direction was often right, I was just giving the trade the wrong amount of time. A rejection on the 5 minute chart doesnt always make much sense with a 1 minute expiry. I was basically expecting the whole move to happen immediately after my entry. Now I match the expiry more closely to the timeframe I actually used for the setup. My 5 minute setups usually get more room and I stopped trying to catch every tiny candle. Even when I take something directional on moon.com now I think about how long the idea should realistically need instead of only whether I think price goes up or down.
