Have You Ever Moved Your Stop-Loss Just to Avoid Taking a Loss? π I think this is one of those habits that seems harmless at first, but can become a serious problem over time. You enter a trade with a clear setup and a planned stop-loss. Everything is decided before entering. But then price starts getting close to your SLβ¦ And suddenly you start thinking: βMaybe I should give this trade a little more room.β So you move the stop-loss. Price gets closer again, and you move it one more time. π I've been wondering whether this usually happens because traders don't trust their original analysis, or simply because accepting a loss is harder than they expected.
