Given all the electronics and monitoring that an ev involves why don’t they do a better job of monitoring 12V battery health? I have experienced this in a friend’s phev that included a long tow. With at least some evs it seems 12V system failure means you are dead in the water. You’d think that would be something the manufacturers would try hard to avoid. With an ICE vehicle there’s warning (difficulty starting) and a way to get home (jump). This seems like a no brainer in ev design. Thoughts?
