Is an asset really tokenized if users cannot freely transfer it? Tokenized RWAs on the XRP Ledger can still have transfer restrictions because of compliance, location, or issuer rules. That makes sense legally, but it also means holders may not be able to move an asset as freely as a normal crypto token. At what point does a tokenized asset with those limits become more like a digital certificate than something truly onchain?
