Just started trading back in July, hit a hot stock and doubled my money. Not sure if that was a good or bad thing. I'm stubborn and strong willed so am not willing to give this day trading thing up yet, yet sometimes that works against me. I've found a little success with momentum trading the first hour of the opening bell, yet it stops working soon after. Looking for a good strategy that I can pursue for after the market settles down a bit. I don't mind researching the specific strategy and trying it myself, but I'm a little skeptical about just hopping on YouTube and taking advice from everyone posting day trading videos, since I don't know if they are making money from actually day trading or YouTube."
