Hi all — this is my first time posting here and I’ll try to keep it short. I am 34F (recently single) and just sold my house in KC. I left corporate about a year ago and now work remotely for my brothers company as his chief of staff making good money with little to no stress over the last year helping him run his business. Work life balance has been way better in this role and I definitely have job security there for 2-3 years and possibly longer. I recently sold my house because I have a plan to move to CDMX next spring and planned to spend time in Colorado at my moms place for the next 6 months before the move while I prep visa / save some money on not having a mortgage, etc. I have even found apartments and was really looking forward to taking advantage of remote work with my current role and immersing myself in Mexico.
