I never post anything of substance in here, but I see a lot of posts and a lot of comments saying something to the effect of "market manipulation" "bb going down for no reason" "I'm so confused why the stock went down"- and other silly things. So I wanted to talk about the fundamentals of the BB business and why the price action went the way it did. This isn't a bear post or a bull post- this is just my two cents. P/E ratio (price-to-earnings) is how much the market is paying for each dollar of a company's earnings. Trailing P/E: roughly 67-88x (sources differ on exact EPS and price) • Forward P/E: roughly 39-45x • Price/sales: about 8-9x • Market cap: about $4.6-4.9B GuruFocus put BB's trailing P/E around 88x versus a software industry median near 24x. With a price to sales at almost 10x and almost 4x the industry median trailing P/E it's hard to argue that BB is not over valued at this price point. Annual rev 2016 2.16B vs 2026 549MM. TLDR: BB stock current stock price is that if a hyper growth company, not of a struggling come back stock.
