I ordered a bag about 1.5–2 months ago, but it got stuck on “Customs import clearance completed, awaiting pickup by local carrier” and was eventually marked as lost. Instead of getting a full refund, I agreed to a replacement. Now the replacement is stuck on the exact same status. I opened a dispute and requested escalation, but DHgate said the package is still in transit and rejected the escalation. The dispute itself is still open, though. My concern is the 60-day period: what happens if the 60 days expire and the package still hasn’t arrived? Does the seller automatically get the money, or does the open dispute protect me from losing both the money and the package? Would really appreciate anyone’s experience with this!
