Transitioning from Scalper to Day Trader I started trading Bitcoin nine months ago; my style is scalping, but I want to transition to day trading to capture larger price movements. For scalping, I use multiple timeframes—1m, 5m, 15m, and 1h—and I’ve noticed an interesting pattern across them, which has further motivated me to switch to day trading. Right now, I’m getting good entry points, but I close trades quickly out of habit from scalping, capturing only about 10% of the move. Sometimes I hold longer, but that’s very rare. I’d like to know how I can accelerate this transition and what I need to study.
