I have been thinking abt a case study I had to submit a couple of days ago for a project finance firm. I got to the case study stage and had to build an entire model from scratch for 25 quarters, using my own assumptions. It was a very typical project finance model and wasn’t too complicated in a technical sense. But because of the amount of data given, (3-6 different projects with 3-4 revenue and cost streams all for different timings and different assumptions, made the model a rather “time taking” task) - I was unable to rececheck my formulas and I wasn’t even sure if I’ve used the right assumptions for some items.
