I was looking for advice on what the best way forward is. They’re in their early 60s, dad still working and making a reasonable salary. I assume that a heavier ratio in favour of bonds is the best choice, what would be a good ratio if going bonds and stocks? This is not quite their full retirement fund, but it does make up, I would assume, 60%+ of their retirement savings. They have other savings for emergencies that may pop up, so have no use for this money currently.
