Eight days ago the Senate killed the Clarity Act by one vote. Coindesk had bitcoin sliding toward 80k live as the cloture count came in. Every take that day was some version of: the industry just lost its shot at real market structure rules, maybe for years. Today it's sitting around 84k Up 14% in a week. Same outlets are now asking if the winter's over. I didn't sell on the 15th. I'm not adding extra because of the last seven days either. Both reactions assume I know something about where this goes next. I don't. The people posting confident charts this week didn't know the vote was going to fail last week, and they don't know if this holds through October."
